Electronics and Telecommunication Department Program Education Objectives

Preparation: To prepare students to excel in postgraduate programmes or to succeed in industry and technical profession through global education.

1. Core Competence: To provide students with a solid foundation in mathematical, Scientific and engineering fundamentals required to solve engineering problems .
2. Breadth: To train students with good scientific and engineering breadth so as to comprehend, analyze, design, and create novel products and solutions for the real life problems.
3. Professionalism: To inculcate professional and ethical attitude, effective communication       skills, teamwork skills, multidisciplinary approach in students to succeed in industry  and      technical profession.
4.  Learning Environment: To provide students with an academic environment for Life-long     Learning and self learning needed for a successful professional career.
5. Focus of Department: To develop the soft communication skill and personality development among the students, which would be helpful for placement and overall development of the student.

Industry-Institute Interaction through MOU which will be helpful to develop the projects, satisfying need of industries by the students of final year E&TC class.

Program Outcomes:

1. Students will be able to improve their problem solving and analytical skills by trouble shooting problems assigned to them during various workshops held in the department.
2. Students will be introduced to various software tools and given and hands-on by conducting various toolbox workshops in the department.
3. Students will be able to develop their soft skills by being a part of the personality development programs arranged by the department. (eg: Entrepreneur workshop organized by the E&TC department for the students of B.E. E&TC)
4. Students will be able to excel in competitive exams by being a part of the weekly training activities conducted under the T&P program in the department. (8 students have been placed in the industry due to these efforts.)
5. Students will be able to develop a professional attitude and work ethics through industrial training and industrial visits organized by the department. This will provide them with a new learning environment.
